Floaty Balloon 2D — Privacy Policy

Summary — the short version

Floaty Balloon 2D is a casual game. We do not collect personal or personally identifiable information. The only gameplay data we store is your best studs number (your highest score) and an automatically generated, random leaderboard ID that lets you appear on leaderboards without tying the score to your identity.

What we collect

Best studs number: We store only the single number representing your best score in the game so that you can see your personal high score and so leaderboards can display a top score.
Random leaderboard ID: When you first use online leaderboards, the game generates a random, non-guessable ID (for example a UUID-like token). This ID is used only to identify a leaderboard entry and is not linked to your name, email, device identifiers, or any personal data. You can delete or reset this ID in the game's settings if available.
Device & gameplay telemetry: Floaty Balloon 2D does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or device identifiers by default. No background tracking occurs.

How we use the data

We use the stored best studs number and the random leaderboard ID only to:

Display your high score in the local UI.
Submit and display entries on the public leaderboard so players can compare scores.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your score or leaderboard ID to third parties.

Competition & winnings

This game does not run competitions, contests, or prize draws. Any leaderboards are for casual comparison only.

Data retention

We retain your best studs number and leaderboard ID until you clear the game data or until you request removal (see "Contact" below). If we implement an account system in the future we will update this policy and request consent before linking any data to an account.

Children

Floaty Balloon 2D is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the stored score and leaderboard token from unauthorized access. However, no system can be perfectly secure — please avoid sharing sensitive information in places that are intended to be public (for example, public chat or social posts that quote your leaderboard token).

Your choices

Reset your data: You can reset or clear local game data from the game's settings. Doing so will remove your best studs number and generate a new random leaderboard ID if you re-enable leaderboards.
Remove leaderboard entry: If you want a leaderboard entry removed, contact us and include the random leaderboard ID (if available). We will remove the entry on request.

Legal bases & compliance

If you are in a region with data-protection laws (for example the EU's GDPR or California's CCPA), our processing of the minimal score data is performed to provide the game service you use. You can request access, correction, or deletion of the stored score by contacting us (see below).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page. Non-material edits (clarifications, typos) may be applied without notice.
